ABOUT

While terms like “Ancient Egypt,” “Babylonia,” and “Ancient India” are widely recognized, seldom does one hear of “Ancient China” in the same context. Silent are the heavens, endless the cycles of time, and uncounted the millennia through which Chinese civilization has weathered storms to persist. The wisdom of millennia lies dispersed in myriad forms, accessible to those who seek it, ever-present, never distant. This wisdom is not isolated, but an intricate whole, devoid of spatial or temporal confines. To follow any thread within it is to approach its source.

Through my exploration, I trace this wisdom back to three seminal texts:

  1. Heaven’s Book: I Ching (The Book of Changes),
  2. Man’s Book: Huangdi Neijing (The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Medicine),
  3. Earth’s Book: Shan Hai Jing (The Classic of Mountains and Seas).

Together, they form a trinity:

  • The I Ching as the foundation,
  • The Huangdi Neijing as the supporting structure,
  • The Shan Hai Jing as the leaves and fruits.

Rooted in these three classics, my aim is to foster the transmission and flourishing of Chinese civilization.
